Every Logo Design firm will ask you the same questions. How many designs do you want? How many colors do you want your logo to use? What is really the point of asking these questions? I tend to ask questions like, what do you want to achieve with your business logo? Where would like to use it and what kind of image would you like it to present to your customers. See...the reason other firms ask different questions is their fees are based upon the number of design sets or revisions. Once you reach a certain amount of designs or colors you run out, the process is either stopped, or extra fees are imposed. I think at this point and time we are the only company that offers UNLIMITED EVERYTHING on the logo design package. Okay, so you ran around and found a logo design company and the logo looks very nice and its circular, almost like am emblem. (Very unique and crafty) or it has a nice symbol at the top and below that centered is your company name (triangle based logo). Time to start on the website to present the information. So you start searching the web for some professional website designers. Finally, you found one that has some nice design samples and you contact them. They give you a pretty nice price quote which you accept. You then send off all the information to the firm and they start developing the website. After a few days he shows you a sleek sample layout. The layout has a nice concept to it through the body almost like a magazine. It has the navigation to the left just like you requested and main navigation at the top, but is missing the creative hover buttons that you requested at the top, and the top header where your logo is placed looks rectangular and doesn't fit with your business identity. On top of that, the logo looks too small and you cant read the writing on the circular path (emblem logo) or your symbol is too small above the lettering (triangle logo). Whats the lesson here? Well, not all website designers are graphic designers. They might know how to develop some html pages, add your content, and program a few things here or there, but may lack the knowledge of how to properly resize or rework your images so they are sharp on the web. In addition, they possibly can't scale various graphics to fit into their design structure to make the whole website flow with the graphics including the business image.
